About Pennsylvania College of Technology

Pennsylvania College of Technology, a national leader in applied technology education, is a special-mission affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University.

In addition to the main campus in Williamsport, the college operates four off-campus, educational facilities: The Kathryn Wentzel Lumley Aviation Center, The Herman T. Schneebeli Earth Science Center, The Advanced Automotive Technology Center and Penn College at Wellsboro.

As an applied technology college, the school offers degree programs in more than 100 fields of study. Penn College is a renowned educational facility with a recognized commitment to hands-on experimental learning.

Penn College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College is comprised of six academic schools: the School of Business & Hospitality, School of Construction & Design Technologies, School of Health Sciences, School of Industrial, Computing & Engineering Technologies, School of Sciences, Humanities & Visual Communications, and the School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies.

Penn College has a casual fine-dining restaurant named Le Jeune Chef, which serves as a training facility for students in the School of Business & Hospitality.

The Wildcats sport teams participate as members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division III. They are also members of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) and USA Archery. Sports include archery, baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, and wrestling.

Notable alumni include Jake Corman III, a Republican member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, Thomas Anthony Marino, a renowned American politician and attorney, and Jeff Wheeland, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
